TV Campaign For Best Pizzeria Taste Guarantee For Ristorante Pizzas
Frozen pizza manufacturer, Dr. Oetker, has launched a major TV campaign for Ristorante, confidently asking consumers: "Is this the best pizzeria taste this side of Naples?", guaranteeing Best Pizzeria Taste and offering it for free if it doesn't meet their expectations.

The best pizzeria taste guarantee came following extensive research which identified that consumers recognise the unique crust and the perfect balance of toppings are characteristics specifically associated to Ristorante pizzas.
Ristorante is the UKs leading thin and crispy frozen pizza brand, worth 45.4m, up 6.5% value sales YOY.

This TV campaign sees 1M investment to launch the wider marketing activity. The month-long campaign includes a 20 brand advertisement and a 10 tandem advertisement posing the question and offering. The ads will feature on ITV1, Channel4, FIVE, Daybreak and bespoke multi-channel. has a fresh new look to support the claim and provide a mechanism for the money back guarantee.

Six million promotional flash packs will be going into the market and will be available from all good retailers.

Chris Lever, Dr. Oetker brand manager commented: This campaign follows on from the successful Italys best loved pizza activity in 2011, which drove an increase in value sales for the brand. We are confident this campaign will build on that success by encouraging mass re-appraisal of the brand, by driving the risk-free trial. We know that once consumers try Ristorante, they will become brand loyal as we have the highest percentage conversion to loyalty post trial of any brand.

Ristorante has a market penetration of 15% and awareness levels of around 50%, our research shows us that there are more than 3m households who heavily buy thin and crispy pizzas, but have yet to buy Ristorante, we hope that this compelling call to action will drive further trial and build on our brand loyal consumers continues Lever.

New Covent Garden Soup Of The Month To The Rescue
New Covent Garden is raising funds for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) with its latest Soup of the Month.

Marchs Soup of the Month, Robins Chipotle Chilli Bean and Chorizo Soup, is the latest to be created by a consumer as part of New Covent Gardens innovative social media campaign.

The soup was designed by Robin Goodlad, an RNLI crew member from Aberdovey, Wales.

Nigel Parrott, New Covent Gardens Group Marketing Director said: For every pack sold, New Covent Garden will make a donation to the RNLI, raising a minimum of 6,000.

Most RNLI crews are volunteers who put themselves at risk to help others in danger, and were proud to be able to show our support.

Were sure consumers will feel the same, and expect this months limited edition soup to sail off the shelves.

Each month, members of New Covent Gardens online community are invited to submit their own recipes based on pre-selected themes, which are then voted for by consumers.

This months theme, Recovery, invited recipes that would help consumers get back on their feet after any arduous task.

Parrott said: Robins Chipotle Chilli Bean & Chorizo Soup is ideal for recovery, with its warm, smoky Chipotle, beans and Chorizo.

Consumers often turn to soup as a feel-good meal to provide comfort and nourishment, and this soup certainly fulfils that need whilst allowing consumers to help a worthwhile cause at the same time.

New Covent Garden has a long-standing relationship with the RNLI.

The brand has supported the RNLI for several years by donating a percentage from sales of its Smoked Haddock Chowder, a permanent SKU in the range, to the charity.

Robins winning recipe was one of many received from the public, including a number of RNLI crew members.

Consumers are still encouraged by an on-pack call to action to submit their recipes for future Soup of the Months at , where recipes, tips and a blog are encouraging further engagement with the brand.

Robins Chipotle Chilli Bean & Chorizo Soup will be available until the end of March 2012 with an RRP of 2.20, in outers of six.

Stirring Up A Taste For Sharwood's Patriotic Tikka Masala
Sharwoods is celebrating all things patriotic in 2012 with a new Tikka range.

With a multi-million pound TV advertising campaign and a new range of Tikka Masala, Sharwoods is aiming to generate a sales opportunity for retailers.

The TV campaign hit screens in February for eight weeks and has had positive results in consumer research, above UK norms.

The new creative shows the Sharwoods chefs travelling the length and breadth of Britain seeking out hints and tips from local curry houses to make the best tasting curry that consumers can enjoy at home.

In March, Sharwoods is launching a range of four additional Tikka variants, designed to appeal to the whole family Extra Mild, Extra Creamy, Extra Onions, and a Special Edition Green Label Mango Chutney flavour.

Tikka Masala is currently the UKs favourite Indian cooking sauce, with a 27% share of the category.

By creating a range of Tikka Sauces with a twist, Sharwoods now offers the curry in a range that caters to all tastebuds.

Sharwoods new Tikka sauce range not only aims to broaden the appeal of curry but also to get existing Tikka consumers to expand their repertoire creating a sales opportunity for retailers.

New pack designs on the entire Tikka range will coincide with the launch of the new variants, creating on shelf standout for the offering and helping consumers navigate heat levels across the variants.
