Independence Day Celebrations - For CKF Anniversary
This years American Independence day will also coincide with the 20th anniversary of CKF Systems.
The business was originally formed to provide a design and sales service to its sister company, Charlton Kings Fabrications – an established business with over 10 years of trading.
The overwhelming success of CKF Systems and expansion into conveyor systems resulted in the purchase of the founding company within 18 months of operation. CKF set about challenging the established names in the conveyor sector through continued investment and diversification, and quickly acquired an excellent reputation and increasing share of the market.
Although conveyor systems and specialist stainless steel fabrications remain a core part of the business, CKF have added bespoke machinery, product automation and full robotic capabilities to their repertoire – quite an advance from the original range of small belt conveyors.
With the growth in business and reputation of the company, CKF have established preferred supplier status with many of the major food production groups and allied industries. CKF have completed many systems throughout the world, with recent projects completed in Nigeria, Dubai, USA and Poland.
The vast range of products handled varies from bakery goods to pharmaceuticals, household products to car components and frozen goods to fresh produce, with confectionery a particular speciality. There is every chance that the next confectionery product you eat will have been in contact with CKF equipment at some point in the process or packing operation.
The company has built up a very talented team of engineers covering all aspects of mechanical, electrical, software and automation disciplines; including a dedicated workshop facility and the latest in 3D design technology.
Managing Director, Mr Bryan Wheeler, who has presided over the business for the last twenty years paid tribute to the CKF team: “We have acquired an excellent group of engineers and support team who have openly embraced the objectives and philosophy of the business.”
