Since first pitching its pie tent back in 2004, pieminister has earned a reputation as “the” place to enjoy real, delicious food at Britain’s festivals. This year they’re back with everyones’ festival favourites including the famous pieminister mothership. This is any pie from the range with a hearty portion of mash, minty m’peas and pm groovy piled high with cheddar cheese and crunchy onions.
The tower of power (two delicious pies on top of a pile of buttery mash loaded with all the mothership trimmings) will also on the menu for hardcore pie-lovers.
Back by popular demand is the exclusive festival special, the Arriba Banditos. This spicy little number was a real hit last summer with its blend of butternut squash, black eyed beans and chipotle chilli in gooey cheese, all wrapped up in our perfect pastry.
For post-pie munchies we’ve put together a tasty selection of homemade cakes too, including the one and only posh slice (crumbly shortbread smothered in fudgy caramel and chocolate). Perfect with a nice cuppa from the pieminister tea urn. Also watch out for our drinks ministers who will be quenching thirsts in the pie-queue with wheel-barrows of ice cold drinks.
pieminister prides itself on being an ethical pie producer, using only free-range meat and sourcing all its ingredients (where possible) from local farmers and producers. It is this commitment to quality that has earned it a fine collection of awards and a customer base as committed to saving the planet as enjoying good food. With a range of flavours as diverse as goat’s cheese with sweet potato and spinach, to beef with chorizo and olives, there is a pie for every palette.
