Depositing Nozzle For Tomato Sauce On Pizzas |
| How do you get the tomato sauce
on to the top of all the pizza in the UK pizza market? In a market valued at over £700 million it would be worth transporting them all over to Spain. On the last Wednesday of August an estimated 12,000 people converge on the small Spanish town of Bunol for La Tomatina, the worlds largest tomato fight. In one hour around fifty thousand kilograms of over ripe tomatoes are thrown in the town square and the whole area becomes a fantastic topping for the worlds largest pizza! Or you could contact Steck Depositors. Steck have developed a new and innovative depositing nozzle capable of spreading the tomato sauce directly around the top of a pizza base, providing accurate weight control and a clearly defined border. Adding this new sauce nozzle to a Steck Dimension depositor provides a fully automatic system, which can deposit up to sixty 10-inch bases per minute. This provides a less labour intensive solution as there is no need for manual spreading. Different heads are available to cover 6-inch through to 12-inch bases and all will provide full coverage with clearly defined borders and accurate weight control. In some cases the product can also be sucked direct from bulk vessels eliminating the need for depositor hoppers. Where this is not possible or it does not meet the operational requirements, Steck have introduced a new transfer pump for the feeding of depositors. Based upon the Steck Dimension range and maintaining all the benefits of the Dimension, such as: IP65 protection, pilot-less air circuitry, low level - mid level mounting options, cassetted drive engine sealed within an ergonomic case and quick strip down - easy clean with no small parts to lose. Nick Neef, Steck sales director,
thinks this to be the first of its type on the market with a unique reversible
action allowing the pump to purge any outlet pipe-work and return the product
to source. For more information contact:
